Linux Setup Tutorial

This tutorial will guide you through setting up and using the proxy service on Linux. Follow the steps below to get started quickly.

Step 1: Download the Client

Download the Clash Verge client for your Linux distribution:

Choose the installer package for your system:

Step 2: Install the Client

Depending on the package you downloaded, install the Clash Verge client as follows:

Debian/Ubuntu (.deb)

Open a terminal and run:

sudo dpkg -i /path/to/Clash.Verge_2.2.3_amd64.deb sudo apt-get install -f

Fedora/CentOS (.rpm)

Open a terminal and run:

sudo rpm -i /path/to/Clash.Verge-2.2.3-1.x86_64.rpm

Step 3: Sign Up or Log In

After downloading, you need to log in to your account to access your subscription. If you don't have an account yet, click the button below to sign up:

Registration includes the following steps:

  1. Enter your email address and password
  2. Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
  3. Click "Create Account" to complete registration

If you already have an account, simply log in with your email address and password.

Step 4: Purchase a Plan

After logging in, purchase a plan that fits your needs:

  1. Click "Subscriptions" in the left sidebar
  2. Select "Buy Subscription"
  3. Choose a plan and complete payment

Once the purchase is complete, your account will be credited with the corresponding data and validity period immediately.

After your subscription is activated, configure your connection settings:

  1. Launch the Clash Verge application
  2. Click "Profiles" -> "Remote Profiles" -> "New"
  3. Paste your subscription URL and save
  4. Go to the "Proxies" tab and select a node
  5. Toggle the switch to enable the proxy service

After a successful connection, the status indicator will turn green, indicating the service is running. You can now start using the acceleration service.

What should I do if the client can't connect?

If you encounter connection issues, try the following:

  • Make sure your network connection is stable
  • Check your system firewall settings and ensure required ports are open
  • Try selecting a different server node
  • Check whether your account has sufficient data
  • Run the app with administrator privileges
  • Restart the app or the system

How do I update the client?

Clash Verge does not update automatically. You need to manually download and install the new version. We recommend checking our website or the GitHub page regularly for new releases.

What if I run out of data?

If you run out of data, you can log in to our website and purchase more data.
